It’s International Women’s Day today, March 8. (Every other day is International Men’s Day.) The photo above is me cooling off in a fountain in DC while demonstrating for the ERA ratification. It’s still not ratified, by the way.

We need to see the patriarchal system we live within. I believe the system is collapsing and that we are witnessing that right now. It’s scary, chaotic, and very challenging to stay hopeful. It can also be challenging to stay tuned into one’s purpose and reason for being.

And yet, this is exactly what I believe we are being asked to do.

See what is happening in the world—and then consciously pivot toward your joy and creativity.

My clients are working to release past patterns of conditioning while at the same time nurturing their heart’s desires for a life of full self-expression.

Nothing inspires me more than supporting women to do this. My whole life has been devoted to finding my voice and standing behind it.

It’s 2026 and each of your voices matters. Your voice is the reason you came here. It is the expression you give to your soul’s purpose, and it evolves over your lifetime.

Here are five Wisdom Teachings to practice as you wake up to your own Light, Story, and Voice.

  1. There will always be some level of resistance when you move to a new level of visibility. This includes being visible to yourself. Learn to discern what that feels like for you and make peace with it. Usually, it appears as some form of self-doubt. And self-doubt is simply a learned state that visits your consciousness in an attempt to keep you where you are—to keep you “safe.”
  2. It’s essential to cultivate Stillness in order to bring forth your Voice. Stillness is the key to understanding your spiritual consciousness. It lives within you and is the source of all that you desire. Click here to download a PDF about Stillness.
  3. Understanding our collective history as women does not mean identifying as a victim. It does, however, mean feeling a sense of urgency about contributing what you are here to give—your wisdom, Love, creativity, and Light. It also requires healing the wounds and belief systems that still limit your brilliance and creativity.
  4. Love your body just as it is. Bring love to all the younger parts of you who may have been body-shamed. Loving our bodies is perhaps one of the most radical things a woman can do.
  5. Write in your journal about visibility, taking up space, shame, power, your heart, your beliefs, your relationship to Spirit, and your intuition.

May you keep listening for your own voice.

May you trust it as it continues to unfold.

With love,
Nancy
