I always get to where I’m going by walking away from where I am…
Recently I came across this wonderful Pooh quote and it helped me to crystalize my own forward motion so I wanted to share it with you, along with some deeper explanations of what it points to.
“I always get to where I’m going by walking away from where I’ve been.” Pooh
Remember, the purpose of quotes is for contemplation. You contemplate them until you find the truth embedded within then.
Let’s look at this one.
Where are you going?
Do you know? Have you created a clear intention for your present life? Or are you confused and hesitant and afraid? It’s okay no matter where you are because it’s always a mixture of clarity and confusion until it’s time to walk away.
When that moment comes, you will know it! But it takes work to create this clarity. And it takes guidance too.
Walking away from where you’ve been
What does this mean? It means, for one thing, letting go of false beliefs you’ve carried around for decades that limit your full expression and thwart your Voice.
It means walking away from habits that aren’t in your highest good. A big one is busyness!
Signs that it’s time to walk away!
- You’re feeling disconnected from your inner wisdom since you’re not living from that place. Everyone else’s opinions and demands of you take priority.
- You feel shackled by a life that’s too small for you yet don’t know how to set yourself free.
- You wake up at night, knowing you have a bigger purpose yet afraid you don’t have what it takes to live it.
If this is you, stay tuned!
